The first Namkeen Bikaneri Bhujia was started in 1877 under the rule of Maharaja Shri Dungar Singh of Bikaner (Rajasthan).At that time Maharaja Dungar himself liked to eat it. And its first name was kept as Dungar.Due to being made in Bikaner, it got the Geographical Indication tag (2010). This tag means that Bikaneri Bhujia was given the name of its area, due to which it is known as Bikaneri Bhujia in today’s time.

जब हम सुबह के नाश्ते की बात करते हैं तो सबसे पहले हमारे दिमाग में समोसा नमकीन बिस्कुट मठ्ठी आदि का ख्याल आता है और ज्यादातर लोग सुबह और शाम चाय के साथ नमकीन, बिस्कुट और मठरी खाना पसंद करते हैं. यह बेसन, मूंगफली, चना, मटर और मसालों से बनी होती हैं.
बीकानेरी भुजिया का इतिहास:
पहली नमकीन बीकानेरी भुजिया की शुरुआत 1877 में बीकानेर (राजस्थान) के महाराजा श्री डूंगर सिंह के शासन में हुई थी। उस समय खुद महाराजा डूंगर इसे खाना पसंद करते थे। और इसका पहला नाम डूंगर रखा गया। बीकानेर में बनने के कारण इसे भौगोलिक संकेत टैग (2010) मिला। इस टैग का अर्थ है कि बीकानेरी भुजिया को इसके क्षेत्र का नाम दिया गया था, जिसके कारण इसे आज के समय में बीकानेरी भुजिया के नाम से जाना जाता है।

नमकीन में सबसे ज्यादा पसंद की जाने वाली नमकीन नवरतन है। नवरत्न नमकीन एक चटपटी नमकीन है, जैसा कि इसके नाम से पता चलता है, इसे नौ तरह की नमकीन से बनाया जाता है. यह खाने में भी काफी स्वादिष्ट माना जाता है और हम यह भी मान सकते हैं कि इसे स्नैक्स का राजा कहा जाता है।
सादा मिक्सचर:
कई तरह की नमकीन को मिलाकर सादा मिक्चर बनाया जाता है और इसमें मसालों का प्रयोग नहीं किया जाता है. यह सुबह के नाश्ते में सबसे अच्छी नमकीन होती है, खाने में भी स्वादिष्ट होती है, इसमें सिर्फ नमक का प्रयोग किया जाता है. इसे हम हल्का नाश्ता भी कह सकते हैं। यह सुबह के लिए सबसे बेहतर नमकीन है।
